Cartagena - Teatro
Cartagena - Puerto

Cartagena is a historic port city on Spain’s Mediterranean coast, known for its impressive Roman heritage—including a beautifully restored Roman theatre—and its lively waterfront. It blends more than two thousand years of history with modern naval culture, offering a unique mix of archaeology, seaside charm, and vibrant local life (https://www.turismoregiondemurcia.es/en/cartagena/). Cartagena plays a strategic role in the horticultural and fresh‑cut processing industry thanks to its location within the ‘Campo de Cartagena’, one of Spain’s most productive agricultural areas. The region benefits from excellent climatic conditions and produces a wide range of vegetables, baby leaves, herbs, and fruits that supply both European and global markets.
